Many individuals struggling with substance abuse also suffer from a dual-diagnosis or an underlying mental health condition. At Avery Lane, we address all underlying concerns related to substance abuse, including any undiagnosed or diagnosed mental health issues. In addition to Avery Lane’s 30, 60, and 90-day Primary Care addiction treatment programs, we offer a Medical Stabilization Program for women desiring a medication assessment and stabilization. The medical stabilization period includes an assessment from our physicians including our psychiatrist, an overview of all current medications, and GeneSight® (DNA) testing to determine which medications would be a proper fit for the overall goal of long-term sobriety and lessening of mental health symptoms. Depending upon the severity of the situation, participants will go through the stabilization period in conjunction with their 30, 60, or 90-day program in our Primary Care Program. The precise length of stay is determined upon the participant’s admission with a comprehensive physical evaluation by our medical staff and clinical staff along with the participant. For more information regarding the treatment plan, or costs and insurance coverage, please contact our admissions team.
